My role as lead creative director (and copywriter) for the 3-week broadcast and in-person meetings and training began with my development of the theme (Unstoppable), theme graphic, manifesto, opening and closing video scripts and informing the overall look & feel.
From there, I worked hands on with a talented team of creatives to develop everything from the video assets/package (lower 3rds, opening/closing videos, walk-in graphics, etc.), the set and room designs, comms (PPT template, emails, printed invites, signage, etc.) programming and activities, training support, and the design of the online portal where all the participants would engage throughout the launch. I even got George Lopez (a kidney transplant recipient) to be interviewed on the final day of the event.
My role didn’t end once I was on site, as I needed to provide constant creative direction for the set and broadcasts, and was asked to speech write for all of the senior management members who were presenting.
The launch was a huge success, with their senior management sharing it was one of the best launch events ever created for Bayer in the US. And thankfully, led to a lot more work from the client.
